Not a 100% but from my beginner vantage point, 174 starter, Bolen, avoids Duke's ranked wrestler and gets more matches/wins to pad the resume for NCAA qualification. Chishko goes to a lower level, low pressure environment to workout his issues, build stamina and his resume (he has only a handful of bouts to his name in 2018). Blees wrestling so well in duels after going to 149 was a big piece as well.
